The Illuminati card game really had some interesting themes in it. There were many more cards of interest than what you posted. Of course, there are two likely scenarios that contribute:
1. Numbers Game (make enough cards and you'll have some commonalities)
2. Pattern Fitting (we make current/recent events fit the cards ala Nostrodamus)

In the few stuff I've read from Arthur C. Clarke and Isaac Asimov they both have predicted so many stuff that I can't quote them all, but mainly in the telecommunications field, the way we communicate to each other, things like devices, networks, storage and many other things that current researchers seem to take those as actual goals.
