When I see all this stuff with neo-nazis in the news now and the current breaking down of speech between opposing views I think of this, some bizarre sketches done by some comedy group from 10 years ago.

I think he took a lot out of Brave New World but made it darker. Where human connections are there in Brave New World, just superficial...seems much more realistic in THX1138 how human connections are basically non-existent.

I think Zardoz is incredibly...relevant in terms predicting the course of behaviors and perceptions in society...hypocrisies of utopian communes, although its meaning is heavily obscured by the crazy visuals.

Ironically, I just bought Naqoyqatsi on DVD ... Existenz was from the same director as Videodrome, Cronenberg. I think some see Existenz as a sort of sequel to Videodrome ...

STREET ASYLUM is 110% worth watching. That movie made this 13 hour exploitation fest I went to worth every penny and every bit of time.
