Want to start a thread after I remember the title this book, ....yeah ..about how for instance Michael Jackson was told to wear that glove, and how many other "artists" had a helping hand,far as wear this leather jacket always or wear this clock around your neck...the reference was Satan's glove or something to where everyone needs a gimmick to survive and cast the spell of fandom..so I imagine Arthur slugworth type character coming around the next corner to whom ever is on their way and they are approached with a gimmick straight from Satan. Satan being a metaphor for casting an image and letting it run wild.
