There were some weird years there that I don't think about a whole lot anymore.

But yeah: building a drum synth triggered by drums/logic. Slow going. It would accomplish a lot of this stuff, but with triggered samples, envelopes, modulation, and advancements in sequences. High hopes...I have a go pro on loan to document the eventual jamz.
This may be relevant...

Or for more primitive methods I've seen DOD FX90s go for less than $40.

Or again Pedals and Effects..

Yeah a fellow ILFer sent me that vidja a little while ago! Interesting idea, and kind of the same way I'm headed. There are a couple of simple/elegant solutions to this problem, not least among which is the Ladik U-036 audio-to-trigger module. Translates four audio signals (say, a four-piece drum kit) into a trigger generator used to ping anything you can think of.

I'm retarded. The way simpler solution is the arduino triggers that English Pop Punk guy builds. I'll post the video later.

How are you liking guitar through an 8x10? I'm really wanting to do this soon but can't seem to find anything for reference.

Limited time to open it up, but it's wonderful. Starting think it's a pretty ideal configuration. Quick and responsive, not boomy or flubby, but there's tons of bass just because of the size of the cab. And obviously loud as shit. Seems like a good platform that'll do a lot of things well...I love 15s, too, but they're not good at everything, for example.

It probably weighs 150lbs, though.
