Two months. Just under 4 Gs, though my new baby is paying for it (tax return). Contractors would have been 3-4x as much $ and not a lot faster.

And yes to greys. Got some kind of 'daylight' LEDs that feel really nice. They're all on a rheostat, too, for that nighttime maxin'.

I'm super jealous, I wish I got to ride around my basement in a little tike's car!

Bro come over.

(They're called 'cozy coupes;' get it right.)

Taping is the wurst. And ceilings. And carpet.

Did you use safety glasses?

Definitely would but i'm guessing the last minute flight would be expensive.

Must be an UK vs. US thing on the name but after learning that aluminium was originally pronounced 'aluminum' so you guys aren't as wrong as I thought I don't know what to believe.

But it does look really awesome, the basement that is, not the 'cozy coupe'' which looks wicked awesome.

Yeah you folks just added extra sounds to it for no reason. 'Cinnamonon.' But you're welcome to scoot awkwardly across my elegant flooring in the child's conveyance of your choosing.

No tape. Mesh. Sanding was a bitch. Just sprayed ceilings...took 90 minutes.

Elephant chair ties the room together.

Not finishing the ceiling is brilliant from my pessimistic perspective. Flat black paint is the best ceiling treatment.

Or just use your basement to play Lambs.

Is it part of being a conscientious house owner to save on expenses by, every year raise rent, get new renter, see problems such as unchecked pipes eventually clogging, setting the a/c to fail, plastic stopper ring in toilet deteriorating ect. And having a clause in renter contract that issues the renter to pay for all house problems under 200....moved into this little place, first thing...pull the window shades up and the whole thing crashes down...try the next one, didn't get that far, won't work...typing this on phone on a toilet that won't shut shit the fuck up!agh! It's always the a/c or toilet...the list of shit I had to repair along side a maintenance man in an apt was fuckin ridiculous...first day in last apt, toilet wouldn't flush...what did we find all way down a pipe...a fuckin fork.

None more black.

And I would have had 1" of clearance all around had I hung ducking drop ceilings level from the lowest point.

Wow, that looks great! I never would have thought of gray (but it's well known that I'm aesthetically challenged) . More space for the kids to safely play in is always a good thing, too.

You're a credit to the ILF gene pool. :thumb:

Well I'm warping my kids pretty badly, so I figure they'll wind up here (or the equivalent) one day.
