Looks really cool, but so do concept cars.
Are there any actual plans for manufacture? I have serious questions about the design since it doesn't look like it's actually functional (where do all the wires to connect the two halves go, what kind of speaker do they plan to use when it's so thin, where's the space for circuit boards with such little clearance based on those buttons, etc.).
If real, this thing would sell like hotcakes to people who bought the pocket piano.
Also their sales pitch is so funny "When we imagine synthesizers, we often picture big, bulky equipment like the massive Moog. The Piino explores a more compact form that allows musicians to capture…" Moog is literally famous because he pioneered the portable synthesizer (Model D)...

For a second I was like "OH SHIT, DUDE."
Then I realized it seems like it's just some effects slapped on top the usual thing and was like "oh, shit...dude."
If those extra controls are for the actual freeze part, then I'm into it. But I have my doubts about that.
It looks like all the black knobs are grouped together with the original SE controls, while the effects knobs are white, so it'd seem they're compartmentalized. I couldn't care less about the built-in effects, really, but an SE with more control and mode change on a footswitch? Fuck yes. Biggest negative I can see is if the Exp is only for the built-in shit. It'd be a hell of a lot more interesting were it to control any of the SE section.
Also, I'm slightly surprised they didn't name it the Super Duper Ego or something.
Honestly I'm just as stoked about the Switchblade Pro as the Superego... wet/dry blend and two effects loop is sick. Heavily considering that for parallel blending bass dirt.

+1 to this - I have a wounded paw blender that's overkill for running two things in parallel and would love something with a smaller footprint.
