The problem, as i see it, is that all of the good guitar riffs have already been created. I've crunched the numbers, and it is mathematically impossible to create any more of those iconic-level riffs on par with what we grew up on. So, people are looking for something different, not unlike Zima drinkers.

Witt, I'll volunteer to take one of your jags so you can make the transition to a guitar free lifestyle.

Yeah, Wittgenstein, if you really want to be free from all this six-string oppression, take every one of those vintage guitars you own and smash them. Make a video of it. Post it on ILF. I promise I'll pretend to be outraged.

So will some vintage guitars become affordable again when those collectors pass away? Not likely.

I realize that my hypocrisy is loathsome, and that collecting vintage guitars is sick and pathetic. I have no excuse.
This course, a perpetual alternation of determining what is true, and then setting aside this determining, constitutes, strictly speaking, the steady everyday life and activity of perpetual consciousness, a consciousness which fancies itself to be moving in the realm of truth.

Nice burst of honest introspection, Witt. For what it's worth, I don't think you're loathsome, I think you probably just have some frustrations that are making you act a little nuts.

But then my hypothesis is that all 7 billion people on the planet are nuts. The ones who don't seem like it are the ones who have figured out how to behave in public.

It's ok.

I collect toe nails.

Guitars seem like a much better choice.
