my wife told me about it after having some fun playing with it and I shamelessly used that opportunity to innocuously suggest we could get something like this ...

Fun trick I found. Make a very full pattern. Set the tempo ridiculously high. Change the key as if you are changing notes and playing the mushy texture as a voice.
