This thread makes me wish I had an outback just so I could fill it with my gear. I drive a Toyota solara which does not fit gear. Wife has a Honda CRV which is great but it has the car seat in it so I can't put the seats down all the way for easy gear haul. Shit.

Get an older 4runner, it's effectively a Forester 12" off the ground, that's what I drive. Lot's of space and no gas mileage!

Soooo unsexy, but I just hauled 30+ 2x4s, flats of flowers, a half dozen bags of mulch, a shit-ton of hardware and four people comfortably and in AC. To say nothing of the gear you could haul. Have another baby so she can justify it.

I'll be waiting.

Embrace the ways of masculinity. Get yourself a Yaris or a Fiat 500.

I drive a VW Polo. What labels does that get me?
Good deals: OsbornKT, Phantasmagorovich, UglyCasanova, DarkAxel, Skip, D.o.S, ColdBrightSunlight, Eivind August, Goroth

They're wonderful cars, and I can't think of a single stereotype to throw at you. Except that 'polo' is a really terrible name for a car.

VW 4 LIFE!
There is a Subaru shop down the road from me that specializes in racing upgrades. Fucking douches in WRX's fly down my road all day. VW recently bought my Jetta wagon TDI and I bought a GTI and now they (douchy WRX drivers) try to race me all the time. I usually will roll down the windows and have my 6 year old wave at them. :p
