IPad-GAS hit me because of this(and the old) thread, but I can't afford anything more expensive than the iPad Mini 2 right now.
Disarm D'arcy rocks the Mini 2 :thumb:

My Mini 4 is scheduled for delivery today. :zen:

I think I have a Mini 2 and if I remember correctly it's specification doesn't differ much from the Mini 3.

Any recommendations when it comes to recording software (Audiobus compatible) and/or EQ/amp sims? :joy:

Peak from Bias seems the most advanced amp sim, but I have little to no experience though. I've always disliked AmpliTube on the computer though :idk:

For recording software, if you want a single track, Tape by Focusrite is free and works great (what I use most of the time). Multitrack my go to is GarageBand because I can open the projects in Logic on my MacBook afterwards.

You got DM1 right when DM2 was released.

If you want one track recording go with Music notes (apple's light recording app that's free) or fieldscaper (or master record by the same dude for something less experimental), Garageband is actually pretty great in itself, but cubasis is a fantastic alternative.

FUCK everything to do with BIAS series. Positive Grid have the worst business plan. They fucking charge full price for new apps that only have minor changes...That being said Final Touch is a fantastic app (and on sale right now), granted it stands apart from the rest of their stuff.

Actually, get Fieldscaper anyways, it's essentially an antinautilus-like glitch machine. :snax:

Every App Apesoft makes is also worthy of your time, iDensity being my favorite.

For FX you're basically set with the Flux, but there's also the new Moebius lab, which uses a shit ton of feedbakc networks and craziness. OH Turnado (just get everything by sugar bytes when it goes on sale)

If any of you all have any questions on ipad stuff just hmu, it's more or less my main platform since I had to sell all of my gear. :thumb:

Naw, get Audiobus 3. It does what AUM does, as well as what Audiobus used to do in 2, and a lot of other things like midi modifiers/fx and such. Also it's one app as opposed to two, which benefits you greatly.
