Thyme is an effects processor that is best described as a sequenceable robot operated digital tape machine. With a lot of parameters at hand it enables the exploration of all the time based effects and the vast space in between their classical multi-effects categories (delay, phaser, reverb, chorus, pitch shifter, multi-tap delay, tape delay, tremolo, vibrato, compressor) and in stereo! Each of the 9 different parameters (Tape Speed, Delay Coarse & Fine, Feedback, Filter, extra heads Spacing and Levels, Dry Wet Mix and Volume) has a dedicated, very flexible modulation source – called the Robot – which can be phased out differently for left and right channel to create psychedelic new sound effects. The Robot can either be an LFO with many different waveshapes, external CV source or an envelope follower to enable effects reacting to dynamics. On top of everything there are 8 buttons to select a preset and those presets can be sequenced by a built in meta sequencer. The Sequencer, the Robots and the Delay can be synchronised to external or internal clock. Thyme interfaces with MIDI, analog clock and CV, it has a switchable stereo/mono input, stereo output, headphone output with level and foot switch jack.

The Thyme is ready for production and pricing and availability will be announced in May 2017.

I'm glad this is finally coming. Looks kinda goofy, though...

Seriously this sounds delightful concept-wise, why does it have to look like a cheap knockoff drum maxhine from 15 years ago??

This is obviously very cool and I very rarely, if ever, comment on this but...

Holy lord that panel is awful. Everything that isn't the big text is fine, but wooooooooooooooooooof.

It's so hard to guess on this. On one hand it's got a lot of stuff going on, which makes me think more. Also, it's been in development for about 3 years or so, so that makes me think more also. If you consider, though, that it's fairly small (about 4 x 7"), I think it could be fairly reasonable. I'm currently thinking more like 300-450. It makes me nervous when something's a month from launch, and the builder still won't confirm prices. That generally means it's going to be more than people are hoping for.

---Did you see the eowave Quadrantid? Not cheap at 499€, but when I saw it, I thought Mescaline users might like it.

Unscientific guesstimate. (and I should've flipped my values for LxW)

Supposing his thumb is about 3", double it and add an inch. Actually, looking at it again, I'd say the enclosure is closer to 5" in width (12.7 cm) and perhaps 7.25" long (18.4 cm). It's definitely smaller than 10" long, but maybe as much as 8" length x 6" width....unless of course he has deceptively large hands, then these rough calculations are moot. :animal:

lots of cool stuff at super booth! man.

micro granny measures 5.5" x 3" so ~6x8 seems like a good guess.
