The Trial is probably the one that has affected me the most, as I read it when I was quite young. Stuff like The Magic Mountain, The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch and The Atrocity Exhibition also seem to pop up in my mind quite often. Feels like I'm forgetting something. Eh. I don't have much time to read for fun these days, so have loads of stuff laying around that I'll probably enjoy a lot. Read Salmonella Men on Planet Porno recently, that was a great read.

The Holy Bible must be mine. No need for other books, when everything you need to know about life is in this one. It tells you about philosophy, physics, history, biology as well as the law. What other books do that?

Atrocity Exhibition has pictures soooooo..... (I should go back and read this... it's been years).

Probably my all-time favorite is Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse-Five. It's just the first book that really turned a corner for me and got me really into reading back when I was a wee lad.

Had Slaughteterhouse-Five, was looking forward to reading it, but a friend's birthday took me by surprise, so gifted it to him. :cry:

Notes from the Underground makes me laugh harder than just about any book I've ever read. He may have been an evil SOB, but Dostoyevsky was one funny bro

i love vonnegut too. cat's cradle, breakfast of champions and the sirens of titan are all excellent. i still need to read slaughterhouse five.

Haven't read The Atrocity Exhibition, but High Rise was great. I kept trying to read Concrete Island but it didn't really grab me.

Yeah that one. Or like The Stranger. tbh I haven't read any fiction in well over 5 years. Think the last book I read was The Death Of Bunny Munro.
