The FUMANA is an all analog dual filter bank with various control to access dynamically these bands. Each filter bank is composed of an array of 16 independent 48dB/oct bandpass filters. Having two identical filter arrays, allows you to use one of those for spectral analysis (of a modulator signal) and the other for spectral re-synthesis (of the main signal).
I haven't even heard a word or seen another picture of it since NAMM2015. Considering how much they've put out since then it's either dead or in a heavy redesign.

That's a weird question. The only person I can recall to successfully pull off le fedora was Alain Delon in Jean-Pierre Melville's 1967 masterpiece Le Samouraï. I may be as misanthropic as Monsieur Costello, but not that French.
I did wear a hat twenty years ago---wide-brimmed straw hat, like you'd see on scarecrows. I'd throw on my long coat, cover my head in straw, fill up my jug, and then trek into the village---where I'd sip on my jug and scowl at the youths. I shant dare with such trouble these days---after all, the striplings are too preoccupied with butt-chugging, bath salts, and trading cat memes. I wouldn't know where to find the students forthwith.
No, I favor words like cocksucker, fuckhead, troglodyte, subhuman, mutant, and shitheel (or hyphenated combinations). But those are just words I mumble under my breath at the crest of 4 pm traffic. I do my best to avoid direct human contact---too many mole people and technocratic idiots afoot to be burdened with the enterprise of mutual exchange.
You know, Idiot. You may go through life and think people don't realize how hard you work at being a turd, but we notice. So mission accomplished I guess?
