I teach EFL to mostly unemployed people and sometimes refugees here in Berlin, through the unemployment office. I also teach guitar privately. Both are usually pretty fun.

All I ever dreamed about, all through my teens, school and college, was becoming a professional musician who got paid to play guitar, so I worked my sad ass off to make it happen and for quite a long time, it happened and worked and was the best. That ended when my kids came along, so, despite living out my second life dream of having a beautiful family of my own, these last few years have been a bit harder and suckier than throwing a guitar aroud a stage, the transition has been pretty jarring to say the least. So now I'm pretty much a shit-scared stay-at-home-dad who does crying and not-drinking to keep myself doing that whole 'being alive' thing. Everytime I buy a pedal, it is as close to a miracle as there is ever likely to be. My wife (who pays the bills) is going to kill me and my gravestone will read "oops"

Yeah, sorry.

It is a nice vision of fuzzhalla, though. May we all one day attend the great meet-up.

I'm a public defender. I get paid by the state to defend people in criminal court cases. Very cool gig, but burnout is real, and if you succumb, you're part of the problem.

I deliver pizza for Dominos. I've worked there for like 4 and a half years. its good money and i can listen to music/podcasts a lot and i dont mind driving. its kinda boring and hard on your car, I've gotten a lot of help paying to fix my car from my mom. would like to find a better and more rewarding job but i'm kinda clueless and lost after finishing up school.

I delivered pizza in college for a mom and pop shop. One night I was walking into a dorm to make a delivery, and a Domino's guy was walking out. I said hi to him, and as he walked past me, I heard him mumble something like "how come you don't have to wear a stupid uniform."

But yeah, made some good cash at that gig on a weekend.

I don't remember what I said in this so I'll say it again I guess. I'm bored and anxious, so I need something to do.

I'm a property owner (as of last year) and am going to have 5 doors after next month. That's where I get the bulk of my money. I get a really good return on my money.

I also am part owner of a fitness company, although I'm now a silent partner and receive a monthly check.

I am also the owner of Acid Splash Designs, which is gradually picking up steam again.

My main point of interest for financial gain is rentals though. It's a great business and you can make a fortune as long as you're realistic and take things semi slow. I'm not looking to become a millionaire over night or anything.

Having these three things allows me to be a full time dad as well and explore my artist side with photography, etching/engraving and music. Really I think I'm the luckiest guy alive sometimes.
