East Coast Meetup Oct. 7-9 - MAYBE. NEWS INSIDE

I'm getting jealous of all these awesome meetups that are too far away for me to attend. East Coast Meetup? I'm a little too far south to host most likely but I'd be willing to drive somewhere between 8 and 12 hours to fuzz it up with y'all.

Any ideas? Any interest?

They tried to do one last year and none of the East Coast folks would solidify shit. I was even thinking about going.

Probably further north than where I am, although if we did Asheville we could hit up the Moog factory...

But I imagined somewhere north of DC. I don't have any real solid ideas haha

There is an event space above my practice space that is easy to rent. Only tricky thing is sleeping arrangements in nyc

Going to NYC would be cool, not sure how'd I travel with my gear though because fuck paying that toll for the tunnel. A Megabus ticket is cheaper than that toll. I've only ever stayed at the Q4 Hostel in Queens which was cheap and pretty tight honestly.

I'm in Boston, getting myself to NYC is not hard. So I'm good for a meet up.

Yeah there's a bus from Portland to NYC, too, so if I'm on the continent I can totally make it.

What's the time frame here? This is actually crucial to me making this work in any fashion. Also, I do doubt Jeff will let me stay with him because he's afraid I'll rape him or whatever (I don't see the problem). Maybe some of us can split a hotel room??

Does anyone know the policies for bringing pedals on a flight with you??? Like carry on I mean. I'd have to fly and I definitely don't trust them with my bass.
