Right now it does simply count the interval between 2 consecutive taps.
For example: tap1 -> tap2
If you tap another tap3 it still keeps the tap1/tap2 interval
if you tap : tap1 -> tap2 -> tap3 -> tap4 it keeps the tap3->tap4 interval
I can't say affirmatively that it's impossible to implement some kind of averaging but I just don't have the chops yet to figure it out... Not sure the FV1 has enough horsepower for that either

The stomp way up top seems like it'd be a bit of a pain though. Is this a proto still? Any chance of flipping the box horizontally to put all stomps on the bottom?
Am I the only one that thinks things would work more smoothly that way?
