Trainspotting 2

Post by tremolo3 »

I went to see it last night and I was very skeptical about it but it turned out to be the funniest shit I've seen in years.

Anyone else?

I didn't even know this existed until Friday. I'm a skeptic as well. Guess I'll have to go see it.

There are a bunch of good movies out right now it seems. I'll add this to the list and if I ever have a day I wanna waste sitting in my local theatre getting drunk I'll see it.

I was super dubious about it since I first heard of it, but apparently it does everything right. It's gotten great reviews. Gonna see it Thursday, hopefully... stoooooked.

I'll wait for a few more reviews to roll in. My initial reaction is total disinterest, but maybe they'll pull an MBV and make a decent follow-up 20+ years later.

solo tunes:
completed works || loosey goosey releases
associated acts:
Raab Zamboni (fake jazz/real noise//sax, modular synth, editing, misc) || Field Guide (my best friends//sax on 2 tracks)

I make t-shirts, patches, koozies, buttons, CDs, sometimes tapes, and eventually i'll start working on pedals again. DM me for pricing!

That's exactly what they did. It would've been nicer to have a purple Heavy Rocks instead, but follow-ups are good sometimes.

I didn't realise that it was out. I'm excited to see it, but I've been keeping low expectations

+1 on being skeptical as hell, but simultaneously hopeful...

I, too, was very skeptical. The original is probably my favorite movie of all time. But I've heard from friends who also enjoyed the original that the followup is very well done.

I thought it was great. My initial fears (and they were deep) had been eased by the good reviews going in, but it exceeded expectations and then some.

One little thing annoyed me, which I just attribute to Danny Boyle being Danny Boyle...
SPOILER : show
Lust for Life remix.

I think it was great, btw.

Its not often I sit through a newer movie and don't start to anticipate the ending.

Thinking about going tonight on a whim.

Is it necessary to really remember the first movie that well? I haven't watched it in years. I kinda remember the gist of it, but it's still fairly hazy.
