They botched a few and refunded the customer but the pedals were basically garbage and un fixable.

Edit: I found the thread I was thinking of and, while they weren't especially dickish, they seemed very resistant to the idea that they may have fucked up a job.

Noticed that some of the original text has been altered since they finally took care of him, and now he blames himself for the problems too.

I have to ask what originally inspired JHS to post about not being tied to IHOPKC? Where are these "defamatory allegations?" Or is this a response to the casual nature in which JHS is sometimes referred to as a praizegaze supporter?

There was a little bit of a ruckus on their instagram, apparently. Various threads on reddit were mentioned, apparently. I think that's it.

He's been forced to address a multitude of Facebook threads on a multitude of Facebook groups which he doesn't have influence over (as opposed to in Gear Talk where the owner is in JHS's pocket and instantly deletes any thread or comment that doesn't suck Josh's dick).
Almost every time there's, at least, one person who brings up Uganda and keeps talking about Uganda until Josh has to go out and personally tell him to fuck off.
I think the creation of the "news page" is so he can finally have a source on the internet other than that one shill "JHS v. The People" post where he's not being called a horrible excuse for a human being.
