The Good Place

Post by Invisible Man »

Wow, absolutely loved this first season. Very funny, very smart, creative world-building. A really unique show that pulled off some impressive stuff kinda flawlessly.

Anyone else watch it?

Yep, we watched and liked it. The mid-season and season finale cliffhangers were both huge and unexpected. Left us both like, WHAAA?

Ooo, hadn't heard of this until now. So out of the loop when it comes to network TV. Will check it out.

I watched it on Hulu. Wanna say it's NBC.

Been watching most episodes. It's quite good all around. But I do like both Kristen Bell (who will forever be Sarah Marshall to me) and Ted Danson (Sam from Cheers). The rest of the main actors are also very good, and the writing is smart but not too smart. They slip in all kinds of fun philosophical nuggets without making it cumbersome and pretentious.

Agreed--smart but still fun. Not many shows even attempt the combo.
