well, I think they mean "the world's fisrt real Sustain pedal you know like those one's on an actual piano for guitars"

I can see the freeze comparison and it does pull that off but with the harmonic control, the upper harmonic produced sounds a lot like the added mode on the ebow, which is sweet.
