Best wine $$$ spent is going on a wine tour. So much knowledge. So much drinking! Get the van kind and they cart your drunk ass around.
I've really enjoyed Carnivor and Justin cabernet sauvignon lately. According to my personal spending habits: Carnivor is cheap, Justin is not.
I have a particular fondness for Paso Robles wine. I think they have a common flavor profile that I enjoy, or maybe I just love the area.
Very rarely have I been disappointed in a $10 bottle of red wine from Trader Joe's. Hell even a lot of their $5 stuff is usually pretty decent!
Those whose nose knows the noes.

Manischewitz in it's native Concord Grape flavour is baller as fuck.
