Theres literally zero sources of news from large media corps that aren't entirely propaganda. I can't even listen to NPR now. They'll have a hot button issue, have the 'right leaning' talking head on for about 5 minutes and then he goes away which is followed up by about 3 left leaning talking heads that just tear him to bits for the next 20 minutes all the while the host goofily feigns impartiality.

Better off listening to some nutjob on youtube rant about how the moon is a hologram.

I agree BBC is probably the last of the somewhat professional fact-oriented news outlets but the BBC as content creators (and curators) has been infected by the superficial diversity/reductionist identity politics/intersectional bullshit virus.

Once credible news sources have now become Weekly World News tier scandal rags.
Investigative reporting is now confirmation bias on the level of bad tv cop drama detective who only value evidence which supports [their] hunch.
There is no single best source for information. I recommend searching for as many perspectives as possible on any given topic, using incognito mode & multiple search engines because even search results are tailored per user, via algorithms which [attempt to] predict what will align with *your* ideology, and how to most effectively influence you. Once you have a diversity of information, picking out the facts and contrasting how they are spun becomes quite illuminating. Then you can get a better idea of what happened rather than putting your faith in a complete stranger or shady entity trying to make money by any means. The problem is it's tedious and most people don't have the time or patience for that. So soundbites and Poe's law are here to stay...for a while anyway...

The BBC isnt immune from bias, no agency is, bt theyre still pretty good.
Locally the Australian ABC and SBS have been outstanding and Al Jazeera are usually pretty good, as are DW.
Youd be surprised as to how many of our news agencies have correspondents located across the US.
I'd hate to break it to you guys like this but, well, you make the most entertaining news.
