If Joel comes, there are some weird midi ideas I came up with for the tonal recall I want to try out.

Assign some midi controls to an envelope follower. So have the feedback ramp up as I play softer. Or have the delay time follow the envelope to get a warbly pitchy mess.

Also set the bypass to the envelope filter and leave trails on so that it only delays hard hits.

So when are you getting a modular?

I'm always on the fence, but then I see the price tag and realize I shouldn't pick up extra money pits. I really want to though. I'll probably jump in fully in a couple years once the burst of popularity dies down and there are more modules priced reasonably on the used market.

For now I rely on modular inspired plugins (not modular emulators, but things that take the flexibility of modular), and I recently started messing around with Max for Live. Not the same, but it'll do.
