guitar dreams hate/love

So last night I had a dream and I had my dream garage-fuzz rig. A semi-hollow jaguar with a lipstick pickup in the bridge and a charlie christian pickup in the neck that was forest green with a dark wooden pickguard and matching headstock on a bound neck with thumbprint (or was it block?) inlays. My Blues Jr. was cranked and I had an endless array of fuzz in front of me.


Then I woke up.

Don't you just hate/love guitar dreams?

Well considering most of my dreams somehow end up in weird post apocalyptic type of setting... YES!

I have written at least one complete song in my dreams, only to wake up and not remember it.

All i can remember is it had something about "sexual activities" in it. Very wierd.

i come up with a lot of awesome ideas in my dreams. sometimes i visualize a shape and/or a picking pattern to play that sounds cool and would probably work irl, but i never remember it. and it's always awesome. like, best thing i ever did awesome.

someone coming to rob my house and i pick up my jazzmaster of all things as a weapon to belt him on the head with it

Last night I had this Benadryl dream. I had just bought some new pedal and I was really excited about taking it out of the box and plugging my electric ukulele* into it. But there was a warning sticker on the box: a crude drawing of a ukulele with a 1/4" jack, crossed out with one of those red Ghostbusters circles.

*nb: I do not own an actual electric ukulele

I have dreams where I'm about to play a show and I'm setting my stuff up and it takes FOREVER and never gets to the point where everything is plugged in and ready to go.
