It really does, down to the lcf and power switches. The Tapco has xlr in though. Wonder which one is a ripoff of the other?

NICE.

how large is it going to be?

what's your aim? setup for a band to record? in pieces or all at the same time? space for just you?

DEETS SON. DEETS.
Thanks homie. Size is 10x10 originally. But I think it ended up being a bit larger yea.

The aim is to have a space to work on my own stuff as a functioning studio, use as a practice space for my bands and as a spot to store my stuff. Basically making it a center of my creative output. It works for loading out for shows since you can drive directly into my backyard and back up a truck to the front door.

It'll be super convenient, I wont have to haul all my shit to and from practice on public transport, and it gives me a space to experiment at odd hours with sound, as well as write in solitude.

its currently done, moving in my stuff saturday.

still needs a name tho.

Should look to your sigs for guidance.

If you cannot have Toan Fairy Studios, who can?

It's a 78/79 BOSS KM-60. :) Got it last week, mainly cause bass>pedals>audio interface sounds kinda shite. It overdrives quite nicely, so it's also good for adding character to synths, summing drum loops through, etc.

Do you happen to know the differences between this and the KM-6A?

EDIT: after some Google image comparison, looks like the 60 has a monitor control and a switch labeled LCF (Low cut filter, I assume) next to the power. Wonder what else...

The KM-6A or B also appear to have no effects send bus.

Yeah, there's the monitor control (which is really a headphone out), the LCF (which is applied to all channels) and the effects loops (both master and per channel).

Edit: Also, the KM-60 has the option to 'stack' another KM-60, making it a 12 channel mixer.

How much of that pedal shelf is wired up?

Why do old mixers look better than any new mixer?

lol. i know right? they're just so BEEFY.

everything but the pedals on top. my Drone Commandah is to go there in a hinute.

the PLAN is to have it go....

Top - Drone Commander
1st Shelf - bass amp and pre
2nd Shelf - Stereo EFX Aux Loop (KP3 - > H9)
3rd Shelf - Mono EFX Pedals Aux Loop
4th Shelf - bass efx going into the Rusty Box

then if i get some more loot like Bastl stuff or whatevah, i'll move the 4th shelf to the bottom, 3rd to 4th, then use the 3rd for Hopefully Awesome Synthies.
