Damn, I've been trying to tell myself that the earlier seasons weren't as good. I'm going to have to get a hold of those.

This is really accurate regarding the comparison to the Twilight Zone. Black Mirror has made me think a lot more than the Twilight Zone ever did
In defence of Twilight Zone, it's 57 years old and you've seen mostly the same ones over and over, but it was actually designed in many ways for you to think about the absurd or odd and how it might actually relate to your existance in the "real world" versus the "twilight zone."
I'll have to give this a run when we've cleared out the latest iZombie season on Netflix. Thanks for the reinforcement.

How is it?
I only was about half-way through when I shut off my cable. I kinda remember it had a whole bunch of relationship drama and stuff that just bored me.
Oh I'm not trying to bash Twilight Zone. I absolutely love that show too. But yes it is fairly outdated and I have definitely seen the same episodes over and over again

iZombie season 1 was great. It's definatly got plenty of catering to a female audience (the relationship drama), but it's also pretty funny at the same time. It's a novel take on zombies, which are not only played out but not even my thing anyways.
I like the premise, and I like watching the lead actress take on the personalities quirks.
holy shit!
Just watched the first two episodes... if it keeps up like this it is an amazing series.
And so aptly titled....
So far it is scary only in the sense that Sci Fi used to be way ahead in the future,
nowadays you can't be sure...
might be lurking just around the corner
i loved the first two seasons, the third..... has been kind of boring.
i like the one with Bron in it, because BRON (and it was a well written episode), but the other 2 or 3 i've watched ao far (just finished the one with Bron) where pretty meh.
did Netflix do any creative control? the More 'Muricans is kinda annoying too.

I was a dubious of how it would be with all the American actors but it ended out being quite fine. The nationality of the people never really has any impact on the plot and the actors all seemed fine for the most part. I do still think the Christmas special is the best episode yet though, and think it will be hard for them to top it.

I finally got through S3:E2 after taking over a week to get through E1 and holy shit, I think this season is 1000x darker than the last two.
Before it was mostly creepy and slightly disturbing but this season seems to be getting way too close to terrifying.
S4 is going to be about the 2016 elections. Written by Booker but directed by Christopher Guest, with Fred Willard as Trump, Catherine Ohara as Hillary, Eugene Levy as Bernie Sanders, Jane Lynch as Anthony Weiner, and Jennifer Charles as Julian Assange.
