What was missing.

Post by Aquietcabin1978 »

By far not news but god damn The family and I love adventure time. Just finished watching "what was missing", "Simon and Marcy", " I remember you" ,"orgalorg" , and "Finn the human" with my daughter. Deep shit bros.

AT is truly a beautiful show. Rewatching it sequentially for the 3rd time currently with my girlfriend, and I am still finding new things hidden within and I've seen some of these episodes 15-20 times. I was hoping this thread was referring to that episode :p
Also the sound design and some of the songs on this show are absolute genius. This scene's audio has always been one of my favorites - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wf2pJzT-Es

Finally catching up on this show from where I left off (season 5) and Lemongrab is an incredibly dark, and ultra hilarious character. Seriously don't know why half of his shit is on a "kids" TV show. I should never have stopped watching it.

Lemongrab is my absolute favorite character. Just wait till you get to The Mountain (S06E28) - it's the last Lemongrab-centric episode so far. I rewatched it last night for what must be the 20th time and I still don't fully 'get' what's going on, but I love it. "It is one option, to know the ecstasy of my own ego death."

Retardedly awesome.

I love me some AT.

If you're rewatching, I'd recommend checking out The Nostalgia Critic's episode by episode reviews. It's hilarious watching him go from "what the hell is this?" To "I love this show."

Oh damn, that's a tough one! I can watch Adventure Time with my 4 year old a little easier than Ren and Stimpy.

Both shows tend to make him violent though.

I hate to say but I'm a sucker for fantasy and lore and spooky mysteries so even though i was raised on R&S, Adventure Time might win for me.
