EAR AD4096 Mk2 - FX LOOP and 800ms of Delay Time

Post by Ev_O))) »

Didn't see a thread for this yet:

Super hype. ALso includes a new third delay voice:
Sonics - separate delay voice that adds even more harmonic glitter clouds to your delay through a secret process.
Looking forward to hearing this.

These are of the prototype AD4096 mk2, housed in an AD4096 box. These demos are meant to show off the loop options, wet only, and CV time mod input. The new AD4096 will have several added features, but it will essentially be the same AD4096+800ms upgrade you know and love.

In this one, a fast LFO is modulating the time input in wet only mode, and I'm also adding some extra randomness by hand

This shows off the chorus/vibrato tone of the pedal in an upbeat clip

You can also head over to the Reverb pre-order page and look at a bunch of photos there of possible routing options - we have a ton of DIP switch functionality that lets you do some really cool stuff beyond just an on/off delay pedal!

i'm hoping the resale price for the originals drop now that the new one is out. i had one long ago & it was perfect. the new one has some cool features, i'm sure, but it's way more pedal than i would need.

I'm sure quite a few people will be selling their old ones to upgrade! If you get one with a 400ms delay time, you can always get that upgraded to 800ms with our upgrade kit. Everyone who's gotten one says it makes the pedal sound better in addition to having a longer delay time.

There has been some discussion regarding the V2, but it's been quiet for the last month.

THIS THREAD I HERE RAISE FROM THE DEAD

anyone know whats up? ordered a mk2 'bout a year ago. Evidently it's just Todd grindin' it nowadays? Tho people are getting spectravibes, so that's sick. unless anyone knows anything I don't, i somehow imagine we won't get an extra update regarding the mk2 before the first batch is just straight ready given the pre-existing level of hype.
