Ooh, that's a lot better! And yeah, I love the rings and the demos I've seen of it. eventually I want to expand and make it an Elements+rings combo. My future plan is to have one voice running a sequence and the other controlled by a keyboard. Also making ever changing alien instruments with modular is my jam.

So I got Basimilus Iteritas Alter in the mail today and holy shit is it ever awesome! It's so freaking dense! I put together a really simple patch: a sequence from Moskwa with the clock into RCD and a few different divisions going into the trigger, skin/metal/liquid, and bass/treble/alto. Just three modules, but it sounded amazing.
Also it absolutely loves the Pretty Years. That's a pair that was basically made for each other.
For those of you who are looking for a case, the new TipTop Mantis seems really, really nice. And cheap. Downsides : not that much +5V (for monome/etc. modules) and no lid/cover.

FWIW, if you're doing a case that you don't really plan on bringing into the outside world, the Synthrotek Cheeks of Power cases are unholy cheap. I picked mine up (6U, 104HP) for like $270 from Perfect Circuit Audio
Well, Perfect Circuit has these Tiptop cases for pre-order. I ordered one, I have modules that will get here before that case so, I'd like to get crack a lackin. I think I have everything I need for a mostly basic voice, maybe someone could tell me if I'm wrong. I have picked up a VCO, a VCF, a VCA/mixer, an envelope generator, and a MIDI/CV interface. So I think that covers the meat and potatoes. Right?
