Speaking of, this is probably a good time to introduce my new pedal, the Uck Foverdrive. Here's a picture of me holding it.

Also, "Glacial Zenith" is the name of every shitty high school band who are convinced the prog revival is just around the corner.

I jammed with a couple dudes one time and when I left they gave me a cd so I could "learn the songs." Scribbled in sharpie was the word "ETHERIUM." Fuck no never called those dudes again.

EDIT for lulz reverbnation bio:

"Etherium officially came together with brother Colton and Casey Sorrels in the fall of 2005. Later that year they gained additional guitarist Brian Sharpe and started writing material for two psychadellic prog albums titled "In the Absence of Light," and "Ethereal Demise," unfortunately the three band mates met an unfortunate event which led to guitarist Brian Sharpe's leaving of the band.
In 2006 Colton and Casey decided to put those albums on the back burner and focus on simpler "pop" songs with new keyboardist Michael Dumont. Around 3-4 songs were complete with the help of Dumont on keyboards, but unfortunately he too would soon leave the band.
Winter, 2007 and summer 2008 were much like the previous years. Colton and Casey had moved to Seattle in hopes of finding other band mates, once again they found another keyboardist in Maressa Eve Smith. They group compiled a set list of 6-8 songs that they played live in Seattle. After working on the demo, playing 8 gigs in Seattle the band decided it was time for a break. Colton and Casey seemed dissatisfied with almost all the material and decided to scrap almost all of their songs.
After their departure from Seattle the brothers relocated in Austin. After staying locked away for months the band picked up where they left off back in 05' - 06 and began working on "In the Absence of Light" and new material, both brothers decided it was best to write everything their self and started doing preliminary drum tracks on a keyboard in order to get general ideas of how to structure their material.
Now in Fall 2011 the brothers have nearly completed 15-17 songs for their demo titled "Perihelion and Aphelion."

SS/BS has some of the best graphics and pedal layouts I've ever seen. I'd totally want my pedals to look like that if I had my own company. :idk:

Hi Smallsnd/bigsnd,
That is precisely the reason why there will be no more of these ever mad by me again. Its based the artwork on the Armageddon, and when I created the pcb I originally intended it as a one off for myself, OSH park goofed on the screening for the PCBs so I had 5 extras, and 2 of my cats got very sick and left me with $2k vet bills.

I did not receive permission to use the art work, but then again i recreated the artwork myself with subtle differences. Based on my observation of the multiple look-a-like copies of big muffs and klons out there as well as the mountain of bills i was facing, I decided to proceed with selling these pedals off. I am a full supporter of DBA and purchase their pedals and do not intend on releasing any more of these or direct clones of their pedals in the future. Nor will I ever release any schematics of theirs either.

I admit It wasn't my best decision to sell a work-a-like pedal based off my assumptions of the DBA timeline, but given the circumstances I made the decision and what's done is done. Its a cool pedal that I enjoy and part of the enjoyment comes out of the visual aesthetic. The whole reason I got into guitar pedal effects was because of the idea of the Armageddon (And it has been a white whale hunt for me all this time). I hope the people who bought the pedals are enjoying their pedals as much as I have. If so, please let me know and I will gladly refund your money. I am not interested in churning out multiples either. Almost every major company releases some variant of the big muff, even DBA's fuzz war is just a slightly modified big muff which is sold at twice the price of EHX. Same thing with the tube screamer. There is a person on ebay who is selling off multiple in production DBA models, which I completely don't agree with. But like I said, we may never know what's inside the Armageddon, this is just my attempt at examining the DBA time line.

I apologize for any amount of shadiness this brings to my reputation, or any inconvenience this has caused anyone.

Best,
Lubdar

Mine cam on Thursday and it is fantastic! Thanks Lubdar for making it happen

My 2 cents: is the artwork nearly the same: yes. It was recreated. Is it taking money from dba? No. It is not a current production model, it was never even really released, AND if they did release it or if I ever saw one i would STILL buy it too. I am a huge dba fan and I have wanted some sort of armegeddon pedal for year. Making it didn't devalue anything. Would it be mistaken as a real dba pedal? Well, the screen printing is far better than an actual dba pedal and the knobs actually line up with the artwork so idk hahaha.

I thought they had plans to release a production model? I swear I saw that somewhere. Can't recall where just remember being excited.
