Aaaaaand there goes my vote.
It's funny, I saw a pickup yesterday that had Johnson/Weld sticks all over it (two-three on each side). I bet he's wondering how he's gonna get them off now.
It's a sad state of affairs when most of the YouTube comments are like "lol nobody knows what Aleppo is". Syria has been on the news weekly since 2011, by now you should be able to connect Aleppo, Homs, Damascus, Raqqa etc to be at least credible to voice your opinion on Syria.
It's probably gonna boost him in the polls though, sadly

Yep. One candidate is a racist maniacal bigot and the other has been proven to cheat at every level of government, had probably had people, and has covered up a multitude of scandals, actually, they cheated their way into this election, but the part that is REALLY going to keep me from voting for someone is this chap here who didn't know an obscure reference to a foreign place and wasn't crooked enough to lie about it.
While I agree with what you are saying, the question wasn't "obscure" really. At least not for a potential president. The bar is just so low right now that this slip up shouldn't be a problem.

Sure, but, a least he has a grasp on our part in this issue… not saying I don't think he should know this but considering Trump's attitude on this.. and Clinton helping the problem happen in the first place...

"I don't believe it's important/something we should be involved in" is no excuse for ignorance.
no he said
I think the only way that we deal with Syria is to join hands with Russia to diplomatically bring that at an end but when we’ve aligned ourselves with — when we have supported the opposition, the Free Syrian Army, the Free Syrian Army is also coupled with the Islamists, and then the fact that we're also supporting the Kurds and this is, it's just a mess. And this is the result of regime change that we end up supporting and, inevitably, these regime changes have led to a less safe world
