Aranyik Extended Latin Machete, spring steel, came fucking sharp! I think it's more weapon than tool….
I love arayanik knives. I have a few of their e-neps sawback machetes and an e-toh

Superb knives all around and cheap
:thumb: Yeah, I am impressed, you don't come across a lot of stuff that is new yet "feels" old, I want to get that chisel spade they make, I'm always looking for things to battle ferns :thumb:

That E-Toh looks wicked. I wish I had a reason to need a machete

I think I wanna start my own sugar cane plantation so I can have an excuse to start collecting cane knives.

I'm no knife collector but I carry a smallish swiss army knife almost everywhere. You wouldn't think I'd need it that often but the instant I don't have it on me, I get a sliver or need a toothpick or have a knot I can't untie or a thread that needs cutting or a package needing opening or a doohicky needing jimmying...

I need to get a smaller SAK. I have a SAK Champ, but it's barely a "pocket" knife. Pretty bulgy but so incredibly useful. I stopped carrying it when I picked up the Tenacious, but will still take it out hiking or camping. I can't carry the Tenacious at work, though; maybe I'll look into getting a Recruit or Hiker

Those are neat, though I don't have one. Pretty popular in the world of collectors too. Are you familiar with Douk-Douks? Or the Mercator k55k?

You could also look into Victorinox's Alox stuff. Nicer, slim, etc, but you lose the tweezers and pick.

Familiar with both bit never owned either. You should try a higo someday, suprising how cheap they are and still have a folded steel blade

I have about 10 or so antique knives somewhere (old hunting knives, WWII trench knives, etc), but after moving a few times can't for the life of me remember where they are. but anywho, this is the knife I use daily, opening packages, cleaning out pipe bowls, etc. Keep it on my everyday walking home from work in milwaukee. It's spring assisted and swings out very quickly, which I feel adds a bit of intimidation.
