Yeah so I have all their pedals....I like them....going to get the Mondegreen when it comes out....

I E-mailed Brady about getting a Gatekeeper (the super limited one they made before OBNE was a thing). He was out.

For me it started with a Dark Star and Reflector and then I decided I wanted all of their pedals.

In my perfect world I have at least three pedals for each effect:

1. A standard, normal pedal for said effect
2. A different take on the normal so something a little strange
3. Full on crazy (Seppuku usually fills this category) for each effect

So for Fuzz I have (matching to the numbers to the above categorization).

1. Zvex Fuzz Factory (in my mind the 'Normal')
2. Old Blood Noise Haunt (A different take, capable of crazy things)
3. MASF Thornoscillator (Full blown insanity)

I like this idea. I mean, i cannot afford to do this, like, at all, but it's a funny and good idea.

I guess i just try to get something that can cover as much of the three as possible in one box, but sometimes that's less fun. But new ways of thinking about things, thank you!

In any another context I agree. More of a utilitarian approach for everything. I just happen to like pedals though. They're too easy to store (underwear and sock drawers book shelves etc.) so I find it easy to rationalize purchasing. I am coming to the 'logical conclusion' of my acquisition. After I get the Mondegreen, the VHS Simulator is on the way and then I only really want the AARP and (whenever, if ever this comes out) the geiger counter pro.

I should also mention I don't own a single "nice" guitar.

Maybe it's that I also don't own a nice guitar, but the guitar itself seems the least important part of the tone equation to me.

I don't play stringed instruments anymore, but motherfukin agreed.

I did buy this pedal. My favorite part of the demo is Blake Studdard. He is my favorite in all the BLOOD NOISE demos. I love his approach to gear. Synths into pedals and desktop gear into pedals. Not anything new but I like his sounds a lot.

I am most excited to plug the MS-20 Mini into it for whatever reason. I have no idea why. I think because the MS-20 does not shimmer and this pedal does?
