I stopped doing it as much as I was. I know it's been brought up earlier about how much the gym battles suck, but the relative pokemon strengths and weaknesses and status conditions don't seem to have any real impact on the battles. Also, this game is made of grinding, but irl. If it were a console-based game it would be the worst pokemon game ever released. As it is, I'll probably do it every now and again when I go for a walk, but I'm not going to go out of my way to do it anymore.

I spent an hour in between classes battling at some of the gyms on the junior college campus. After it all I wished I had more water type since fire types kept giving me trouble. I went home and sitting in my living room caught a starmie and a polywhirl, both really high levels. Stoked!

Been hiking with H at the parks around here every day. H loves being out even in the heat, we've been getting exercise, and I'm level 23. Ive caught 109 of the available so far... My traveling job has also helped
