Unless you're thinking of changing all the speakers, I'd probably try to find a direct replacement.UglyCasanova wrote:Speaking of JC's, I think I've managed to crack one of the speakers on my JC-160 (apparently, it's possible). Will need to check that out, but my questions is: what other speakers would sound good in there?

Go with something with high power handling and similar sonically to JBLs.UglyCasanova wrote:Speaking of JC's, I think I've managed to crack one of the speakers on my JC-160 (apparently, it's possible). Will need to check that out, but my questions is: what other speakers would sound good in there?

Yea, the stock ones always sounded like JBL clones to me.

They're all stock, yeah. I only noticed at the end of last night's rehersal so I haven't checked it properly yet. Thanks, duders!

Tomkat Tanker. I can use it to drive the amp, to keep my signal clean, to dirty verb, to mellow wash. I do 90% of my writing with just that thing on. 8% unplugged on an electric. and the last 2% with a bunch of effects on to get weird.

I think I'd be lost without my MIJ Mustang or my Buzzz.
