I have a dumb question that is certainly a byproduct of feeling shitty (nothing like 7 hours of sleep feeling like 20 minutes amirite) and not having enough coffee to compensate: Why are modular clocks seem like they're all geared to go so fast? One of the blessings about the Kommander is that I can stretch out the CV increase as much as I want (and the Eowave should compliment this) , but for whatever reason the sequencers/etc. that seem to be the most popular choices all go way too fast for my taste?

I wondered that about the Wogglebug for a bit, before I started using the oscillators at superfast speeds as an alternative to noise/static. There also seem to be a lot more clock dividers to choose from than there are multipliers...and so few clocks that display the tempo in BPM...that was the biggest miss for Tempi, I thought. I've currently got my sights set on the Erica Black VC Clock, and the A-160-5 ratcheting clock multiplier.

BFAM seems pretty self-explanatory, but "Geospatial Reverb" and "Geodesic Sampler"?

Marketing terms rather than musical ones, I think.

Yeah, the names are probably more marketing than function.

Also, my Intellijel 7U case arrived at the shop I'm buying it from, I should get it tomorrow or this week-end I think :!!!:
I'll finally be able to use all my modules at once. Including one that I never used because I bought it without realizing it needed 5V and my case didn't provide that.

Using some basic creative reasoning re: the name I assume it's granular.

According to Synthtopia...
"Our contact at Moog said that the Geodesic Sampler and the Geospatial Reverb are project-specific modules. No plans have been announced to release them commercially"

So they're just building a couple dozen modules for specific projects? Hm?

Been dying to know what the next moves will be...this seems pretty clear-cut, and pretty smart, too.

The reverb is looking pretty sparse for 20 HP...mono and only 3 knobs? What a tease.

With Roland in the game, I think all-out sampler warfare is bound to erupt in the near future.

Rainmaker: Jesus fuck it's deep. Ask me stuff so I can figure it out faster. I got spoiled on eventide presets and now I have to learn how to make my own, but it's definitely a worthwhile pursuit. The delay section alone is way more advanced than the any of the Pitchfactor & Timefactor algorithms. All my free time is now going to tweaking around with this thing, learning slowly but surely. There are just so many parameters to mess with, before you know it several hours have passed. Just started digging into the resonator section today, getting some incredible drum enhancing sounds.

Yeah, that can't be right. What's the pull over, say, the Erbe Verb? If it were 10hp they'd sell a million. The sampler looks promising, though.
