Pillows

Post by Faldoe »

I need a new pillow(s). Something available at chain stores. Doesn't need to be made of exotic bird feathers. I tried one of those "mypillow" ones from online but it sucked.

I'm going to bed. I expect solid recommendations when I check back tomorrow morning. No Saturday night excuses.

Getting a somehow fancy pillow with memory foam/etc. is a wise investment. You will use this 7-8 hours a day, probably.
You do need to know your preferences though, some people like thin pillows while others need bigger ones.

or do what I do and add on new pillows as old ones thin out - I'm up to three so far.

 i do this too.
for some unfathomable reason it's cheaper to buy a 2 pack of shit pillows here than a single shit pillow (not per pillow - in total..)
they thin out so much you can usually start fitting multiple pillows in one pillowcase, and when they get really bad i start using them to pad my desk chair because that's also an uncomfortable piece of shit.
by the time you've spent as much on shitty budget pack pillows as you would have spent on a verynice pillow, you'll have yourself a pillow fort, which is the ideal scenario surely?

Yeah, true. For something that is important and used so much, it's best to choose the right one/not try and cheap out on it.

Yeah, this is where I'm at right now. I also use the newer pillow I dislike to sit upright when watching movies on my laptop.
