i just got hit w/ it night before last. sore throat has gone away but i'm still full of snot & hacking my head off & sweating then shivering when in bed.

i've been through worse, but still... ugh...

I once had a guy in a craft beer shop tell me hops are medicinal and a six pack is the best thing for a cold.

He may have been an alcoholic.

If you're running a fever, don't fall to the temptation of blankets! They'll make you sweat and heat you up more. Suffer through the chills... it sucks, but it's better in the long run.

i think you're supposed to do "warm but not hot." enough to not be cold as fuck but not so much that it'll heat you up.

I just got through bronchitis. Hideous. At least it weren't the pneumonee. Hydrocodone is strong as f but caused me some anxiety. Going up is fun; coming down, not so fun.

I started getting that weird scratchy sinus/throat feeling at work tonight. The one that says I'm going to wake up sick tomorrow. Tomorrow is a bad day for me to get sick.

I never get sick. Like, ever. It's pretty great. BUT a couple days ago my throat started getting scratchy. Then yesterday I was up all night hacking out my lungs. I think I might be on the upward swing of it, but still, fuck this sucks
