That picture is oddly disturbing for some reason. I think it's the way the lower left picture is looking at the right guy when everyone else is looking forward.

Only one thing I need to know on weather or not I'm gonna sell my CT5 and get this for everything that I use the CT5 for. Changing the speed (tempo) of the loop will change the pitch of the loop as well?multi_s wrote: not really. it's a looper of sorts, so not totally different, but the patches are not the same as the ct5, i would say they are more advanced/twerkable (8 knobs, hello buhday).
For example maybe you can compare some of what it does a bit to mode 3 of ct5, only you can have each "head" play a different portion of the loop, spaced out in time, according to a rhythm, or an arpegiated pattern etc. So rhythm wise it is way more coherent than mode 3 of ct5 because you can schedule the slices to play according to a base tempo or clock etc. You can change the tempo and everything will move accordingly...
Also once you have rhythms or slice patterns setup, you can keep the structural pattern/schedule and apply it to a newly recorded audio sample, or just have it constantly applying the pattern to an input stream of audio, ie not a sample, just have it apply the pattern to what you are playing .

I don't understand what you are saying but I guess this might be just the thing I need!multi_s wrote:ya sorry i didn't think we would still not have them ready to ship when we post this thread 2 months ago.![]()
we will have all the info soon.

I am on the pre order list of an CT5. Now that the Zellersasn is coming I am in doubt what to do. Order the CT5 or wait for the Zellersasn? Maybe the Zellersasn is more what I 'need'. Any ideas on that?
Can it do the Frippisch long fading out delays trails/loops? especially control over the feedback/dying out of the repeats of the delays (while adding new stuff) is something I use a lot. Makes your loops less static.

Re: 856 for ZELLERSASN
I am sure they both are great but I am afraid buying both will be too much. Already have too much gear. Just don't want to buy the CT5 if 2 months later the Zellersasn comes out and to discover that that is more what I want than the CT5. Would be good to know before I transfer the rest of the money. Already paid for the pre order list of the CT5. Have to pay the rest of the money now. This final payment comes right at a time that more news is probably coming from the Zellersasn. So I am hoping for more info soon.vidret wrote:both.

Yo Scott I know info will come when it comes but any way you could leak the max record time?

I use a disaster area smart clock in my set up and am looking forward to the sampling possibilities but Also its slicer feature on straight through signal is clutch. I love my ct5 but always hated the fact that I could only use one mode at a time. Seems like I can get my glitchy sampling from the 856. Please just take all my fucking money

The answer is to get 3 count to fives. Count To fifteen, if you may.alexsga wrote:You hate this?Devonblue wrote: I love my ct5 but always hated the fact that I could only use one mode at a time.

Re: 856 for ZELLERSASN
i've had this conversation with my friends regarding count to 15, and we've come to the conclusion that it's not sequential, it's exponential.Inconuucl wrote:The answer is to get 3 count to fives. So you'd wanna count to 125

Re: 856 for ZELLERSASN
Curious how much this is going to cost. I have some funds but most likely not enough.
I'm sure I'll do what any other person on this forum will do in the heat of the moment..

Re: 856 for ZELLERSASN
Since I have thought about this for more than three months, all I can figure is more than $100 (Fewtility), but as much as a CT5 ($275 or so), but hopefully less than $500 (EH 45000 money) - somewhere in between those last two. Flawed logic? Probably, but paranoia can do wonders for pre-planning (I will still somehow be short on the day of, somehow, always).Casavettes wrote:Curious how much this is going to cost. 3 x ct5=100%
