Does it have any special power requirements? It should be easy enough for some of us to bring a couple extra adaptors.

I still have to do the maths, if I can really actually swing this. But the reasonable price for the flight means it is not totally out of question.

Per the manual:
1: 2.1mm DC power jack. The Shruthi can be powered with a 7.5V-9V unregulated supply, or with a 9V battery adapter. Make sure that the connector has a center pin (or tip) positive / outer collar (or sleeve) negative pin polarity. Most universal power supplies allows the polarity to be selected — the polarity being often represented by a diagram like this: – (o +, or by the indication tip: +. The power supply has a reverse polarity protection.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that buying a $2 9V battery adapter might be the way to go. :hobbes:

Luckily I have time to scrounge for one, although I believe a 115-240 two-prong adapter should work fine (believe and should meaning that I'll look for the 9volt thing).

I could... also... bring my modular?

Getting more excited for this, maybe mainly because me and vidret are having somewhat regular jamming sessions now. And my schedule is getting more clear, which means basically limitless money and limitless freedom (not really but you know)

I was thinking of hiring a cabin in Trollheimen or Dovrefjell, those are apparently some of the nicest and most diverse hiking spots, and it's quite reachable from Oslo.

I recommend the Dovre Railway. Beautiful train ride, plus you can jump off and hike to your rented cabin. Most rentable cabins are located within a few hours (of walking) from the train stops.

Indeed, that would be a plan, probably need to drop off at Oppdal or take the Rauma Railway to Andalsnes then.

Uhh, I was referring to UC's post.

Never saw that movie. :( :D
Really, I never did.
