i agree actually. David Icke IS a lizard btw. i don't think all reptilians are bad. and - i think what's happening now is - they may be slowly revealing the Truth.
but - the Truth is pretty awful. and hey .. i know it's hard to Believe in shapeshifting Reptiles. but. try looking at the World with that angle for a day. and see how the pieces fit.

It was a secret society of influential people founded in the 1700s by Adam Weishaupt with the goal of opposing religious and superstitious ideologies (which is funny considering all the religious ideas and superstitions tied to them now). Wikipedia will tell you all about it. As far as a modern incarnation goes, there is no concrete evidence.

Personally, I don't think there needs to be a tangible, human Illuminati anymore. Society is a self-influencing feedback loop. Every time we play the game, we ARE the Illuminati. Like a rolling snowball, the source has become irrelevant. The Illuminati lives on conceptually as the Western status-quo. It survives as the force of oppressive Capitalism, keeping people distracted with rigged games of money and power which ultimately benefit only the rich. It has nothing to do with aliens, or scripture, or secret ritualistic cabals. It's not hidden, and it's not trying to be. It's every advertisement on TV. It's every hollow promise you've been given that if you work hard enough and play the corporate game that you will ascend from the bottom and reach the top. It's every war that's started and perpetuated over resources and trade and border disputes. Every time you let the dollar sign dictate the direction of your life instead of creativity and compassion for your fellow man, you are living out the wishes of some dead white guys from 300 years ago. That's what I think the Illuminati has become.
