I've heard of floppy disk delays, I'm interested in floppy disk delays.....but $2,000? granted they have pictures of Omar and Cedric(??) holding one, so surely it's worth it.

If you could build one, hats off to you! Imagine having an old 386 desktop computer as a pedalboard with floppy delay hack, would be sick.

There was another guy who made a little tape based delay based off a Marantz, his prices jumped from $550 to $1000 in a few months too. This guy: http://spacecasetapeecho.com/
Another case of "Might have been interested if it wasn't outright extortionate". When you can get a RE-201 for the same price, meh.
I'm hoping that what Kent is talking about is Industrialectric, that would be a dream come true.

Design seems like an abortion. The on/off footswitch over the motor button screams "I'm going to break."

And yea, no way I'd ever consider something in that price range for what it is.

But I'm a simple dude and the Space Echo is all I ever really wanted out of a tape unit, and this just screams gimmick for 80s nostalgia.
