I don't think I ever tried that but it does make me want to hunt down an old PlayStation and a copy.
I'm still stuck on that bike I posted. It's consuming me.
I need to know what it is.

Re: The Automotive (& other mechanized vehicles) thread
I'm working on refinishing the wheels on my Miata, got the two front ones done now. I think they turned out pretty well (by my admittedly very amateur standards),

And a comparison between the repainted and untouched:

In other Miata news, it turns out that it needs a new clutch pronto. I didn't think the clutch felt great when I was checking it out, but figured it might last a while. Well it started slipping a couple of days ago, so my brother in law is going to help me out with that next weekend. It's also got a minor issue in that the throttle takes a half second longer than it should to close completely. I bought some throttle body cleaner and gave it a bit of a cleaning, which didn't really help. So I'm going to fully pull the throttle body apart soon and clean it thoroughly. I figure it might also be the throttle cable causing this, so I lubed it up but that didn't help either.

Re: The Automotive (& other mechanized vehicles) thread
OK, so, it was nice out today and I finally went to go get photos of all the French cars in my neighborhood…
and none of 'em were parked where they usually are.
So, I got actual photos of this Rambler that I still kinda want:

I know, I know. Needs more work than is worth it, but a man can dream.
Also, snapped this shot of an automotive related establishment:

Re: The Automotive (& other mechanized vehicles) thread
Thanks!
I gave it a good wash and wax last week during some nice weather, so it's looking super spiffy right now. This past weekend my brother in law and I installed the new clutch, which was a momentous pain in the ass, but it drives so much better now.

I went for a nice rainy afternoon drive earlier today around some of my favourite local roads.

Re: The Automotive (& other mechanized vehicles) thread
Enjoy your new wheels this springtime though, Colin. Should be some good drivin' weather with that top down when it dries up.
Also, rad & interesting article:
