free online game recommendations?

i could use a break from fallout and am wondering about an online game i don't have to pay for. not like cards or crosswords. something like figuring out puzzles (not like putting the pieces together) or maybe an RPG.

anyone have suggestions?

If Dota is too scary you can try League of Legends. It's basically Dota light, but it's pretty fun when you get the hang of it.

I've never felt hardcore enough for Dota.

dota and league are fun. the latter is far more forgiving. both are massive time sinks. just go to miniclip . com

The one problem I have with League is that they make drastic changes far too often. I recently started playing again after like a 3 month break and it's completely different. Riot has like no idea what they want to do with that game or something.

Meanwhile, I had a ~2 year break from Dota and I was able to jump in with relative ease. Even with a couple new items/number tweaks it didn't feel like the world had completely changed around me.
