THIS!

Plus a 4x10

LOL

That's how I roll at least.

I guess technically I still have my 2x15 too but I never use it for bass (sounds great for downtuned guitar, though).
good deals are here.

I've only "really" played bass for less than a year filling in with other bands but I've always preffered 4x10's (which I've used mostly) or 2x15's (played a mesa on tour this summer and I really liked it, carrying it up 8 floors in Prague wasn't my favourite part though). 4x10+1x15 is what I've played in rehearsals lately the most, and that sounds really cool in that situation. Haven't tried it live yet though.

If we wanted to go full talkbass, we would also talk about speaker placement so as not to get phase cancellation, ask why you are even using pedals on bass, mention tone being in the fingers, argue about the merits of pick defend Kirk Hammett and the Pike Amps/3Leaf guy, and tell you repeatedly how you aren't living until you get a fEARful or fEARless or whatever, and if you must have tens, blow over a grand on a Berg 6x10.

That aside, I feel like, go with a 4x10 or a 2x12/2x15. 2 tens is not much.

Yeah, but getting right down to it which cab is better for making an electric sound like an acoustic amirite.

But to answer the question I agree with DOS and like a 115.

I'm happy as a clam with my 4x10. Sounds great quiet and I long for the day when it isn't loud enough, but that hasn't happened yet

Also my depend if you want full hifi sounds. I always have some overdrive or something on my bass

Full talkbass would also include leanings toward a sparkly tone and an abhorrence of cabs that weigh more than 35lbs lol

It's funny. For years, I thought I hated clean bass. It turns out I just hate everything about modern (since the 80s-ish) hi-fI bass. I just want dub bass. When everyone on TB started going on about greenboy designs I sorta knew outright I would hate them. Tweeters and active pickups are gross.

I like clean, sparkly, hi-fi bass, when other people do it. I like it when I am all lows and mids, with a bit of fart.

Now that the op has new cabs I'd just like the say he went with the right choice. 10's and a 15.

I'll add to the other opinions that you might want a bigger speaker diameter. Even 12s will give you a good it more more low end... I like 10s in plenty of situations, but sometimes they can have a little too focused low-mids and feel really 1D. 2x12 or 1x15 would be my votes.
