Anyone mess with shortwave radio? I have one in the house but can't get anything (probably due to LA interference and the lack of a suitable antenna).

Anything good out there on shortwave worth looking for?

Anyone use radio modulation to make an instrument mangler (beyond ring modulation...also I know that some audio modulation is mathmatically similar to radio...just curious about older ways even though I know they are dealing with different power, amplitudes, etc.)?

I know Holger Czukay used short wave in some of his music. I can't remember if it was with Can or on his solo stuff.

I learned:

- Eno, Byrne and Czukay are getting too much credit for sampling...
- I like this stuff haha (I already liked Can, so not that much of a jump)

I was expecting more shortwave circuit weirdness like static and stuff...oh well, still neat that he did it I guess. (like recording something and then sending it out and rerecording it with interference)
