I know the HOF in Cleveland has a museum, but I'd like to think there's a Hard Rock Cafe somewhere in Florida that features a "Rock & Roll Museum" section that we could give him/her the contact info to

I was already in the market for a Vox AC30c2 to pair with the JM i'm getting and saw this. What's the difference between the CP & CP2?

And most importantly does this get the SWEET DEAL seal of approval?
That's an AC50…totally different sound than an AC30. Supposed to be more Marshally, I think.

yeah they are EL34 power tube based, so in the Marshall direction but less gain. Think Beatles who wanted to be louder without breakup (my coworker builds AC50 clones and that's his way of explaining them to me)

Probably didn't elaborate enough, but the seller listed it as a Vox AC50 CP, yet I can only find Vox AC50 CP2's online. Did he just mistakenly refer to a CP2 it as a CP or are those two different models?

I think he was saying that because you mentioned being in the market for the ac30, which the ac50 is not apparently like. To answer the cp/cp2 thing, I have no idea.

Even w/ GC's new shipping & handling & tax policies (roughly $15-25 per item, no matter if you ship to your residence or to a store, & freight rates for heavier stuff), this would come out to about $350 for both :hobbes:

FWIW the only advantage of shipping anything to a GC store nowadays is being able to inspect the item w/ the staff, just in case it's totally kaputt, but you will still eat shipping :snax:

Also both pedals are at the Portsmouth, NH location, so whoever lives nearby can save that shipping cost (negotiating will be out of the question on used gear, sadly, as per the company's new party line) :picard:

GC's shitty new policies for ised stock (as per the last few years) aside, I want that Polytope. Finally got an Oxide and am wondering why I never jumped on the IE bandwagon sooner. Wanna get those weird choruses.

Also, I know the answer already, but when is a used Fuck OD going to come up? Someone out there needs to sell me their pink one.

They go up fairly regularly on reverb, usually to the tune of $175+shipping. Keep an eye out though, they tend to go pretty fast.
