Experimental Noize Aphazing
https://www.experimentalnoize.com/

Experimental Noize designed and sells the Spin FV-1. Frank, the owner/designer, worked at Alesis during the Quadrasynth and HR-16 days. He was one of the designers of the quadrasynth. Co-designer of the Spin FV-1 too. Really an awesome, nice, knowledgable guy to talk too. They released the Spin Cycle last year, but are releasing a 2, 4, 8, or 12 stage phaser with adjustable peaks and valleys on the LFO plus different four phasing modes (two additive and two subtractive). Really sounded awesome (all analog too). The pedal looked freaking great and rugged (all steel...smd too). Also has resonance and depth. 9v. I think he said it would be out in April/May at 229 USD street...their shop is down the street from my house. I really like the sound out of it.
Thanks for the kind words. The Aphazing is actually digital, not analog. A lot of people thought it was analog when they heard it.

MSRP is $229.99, street will be up to the retailers to set, we have no control over the final selling price of a pedal. Should ship in April/May, it passed FCC and CE a few weeks ago so starting first run which means getting final tooling done, etc.
lordgalvar wrote: However, it is mono (which really isn't a problem for me) and has no CV or exp functions...which is ok, but some might want that these days. Franks said they had to draw the line somewhere. With the four modes, I think that is cool enough. Forgot to ask about the rate range on the LFO (just says wide). Hopefully it gets into moog territory!

I think the black box next to the yellow one was the prototype.
The black box was just an overdrive I threw together, I like phasing a fuzz or overdrive. I did use a prototype enclosure for it as I had one sitting around.

On my radar for mentioning a connection to the old days of Alesis. I'm one of the die-hards still using a couple of the rack units.

Definitely looking at the pedals now.

I heard St. Vincent play it at the Hollywood Bowl...sounded like an eventide pedal, haha.

I'm sure it sounds great...they wouldn't let me touch anything...kinda had to talk to an attendant or something. The way the pickups are, I would assume something like a music man/firebird crossover? I think she based some of it on the Albert Lee (at least maybe the neck)?
Hope this comes out as a demo/something soon (see gold H9 & Zvex Mastotron on the floor, the latter of which I think AC keeps with her at all times at this point):

Misinformation wins again! cheers on chiming in! You've got me wanting a digital pedal...which is pretty good. It really did sound phenomenal!

Welcome! And thanks for all the awesome gear over the years.

I love old Alesis. Hr16 and 16b are some of my all time favorites. Quadrasynth too.

I rebuilt my Qverb+ last year, put a modern high-contrast LCD, swapped the battery, etc. It may outlive us all.

Man, people really hate that video...

Maybe I should delete it? It was just a left over clip from when my phone was breaking.

Wow, that MXR reverb looks right up my alley. Changing two different verb settings with an expression pedal sounds raaaaaaaad.

Plus it's grey which fits my colour scheme.
