Kinda like this Jeep concept pickup:
There was a vintage cab over jeep on craigslist out here for $10k that I am kicking myself for not picking up when it was available...
Like this one, but lifted and off-roading ready...

Can't remember if I've posted this before.
If so, posting again:

I never did end up buying a project car last summer like I was talking about. In fact I decided to keep my Acura as my daily driver instead of selling it and dailying the Ranger I had briefly (which I think was the smart move). So buying a project car went on the back burner, I planned on saving up for another six months or so before seriously going after something.
But I just found a CL ad near me that might make me speed up my process;
http://vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/cto/5439579137.html
I'd have to flip a guitar or two and some pedals, and it depends on what it would cost to source glass and seats for it (plus checking for other hidden pitfalls like a rusted out chassis). But I might go for this.

Nice, I saw that you'd posted and were hoping you were gonna say you'd bought a car.
You should get that Lotus. A friend had one in college. Crazy low to the ground.
Funnily enough I was looking at not too dissimilar looking Mustang station wagons earlier:

I've emailed the seller, for some info but haven't heard back yet. Trying to figure out if it's a Series 1 or Series 2. It'll be cheaper to source windows and seats for an S1, but the S2 has the advantages of a body that is bolted, rather than bonded, to the chassis and windows that actually open.
My dad has '72 Europa Twin Cam, so i'm pretty familiar with these cars. I also know that they're hot as fuck in the summer, so I'm kinda hoping that this one's an S2.
Love that Mustang wagon. More cars should have been made with wagon versions.
Edit: It's an S1
