Honestly, just tell the Doctor that you're feeling particularly nervous and they'll do their best to reassure you, maybe try and see if there's any other alternatives. But they're professionals and would do these procedures on a regular basis.

I don't know if guys actually get the deserved recognition for having the most potentially shocking and messed up medical issues.

Are you, by chance, going to Dr. Candiru?

Maybe I should toss a fishing lure up there just to give him a surprise.

Thanks guys. BUT WHERE'S THE POSTER WHO'S HAD ONE? Surely I can't be the only one. I'm also 26 and have had a colonoscopy. That was...special.

Hahahahaha... oh dear, can't encourage that one.

Despite the fact that you haven't found one of us who's had one, I'm sure your doc is completely used to people expressing nervousness about the procedure. I'm betting that 100% of guys are freaked out by it, so... he's heard it before. You'll be fine!

I had this done when I was maybe 19 y.o. There was a little discomfort but nothing too bad. The worst was that the two hot nurses were quietly joking to themselves during the procedure and there is nothing quite like the feeling that you're being laughed at while your pants are down.
This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.
